Carlisle United 1 Wrexham 1 (Isle Of Man Tournament - Wrexham win 4-3 on Penalties)

Wrexham won their final game of the Isle Of Man Tournament to beat Carlisle to third place, but it took 120 minutes of football and then a penalty shoot-out to do so. Homegrown hero of the hour was Mark Jones, who scored Wrexham's goal in normal time, and also took one of the spot-kicks. Further details are a little hazy at this stage, but it seems Chris Llewellyn and toothache-plagued captain Darren Ferguson were amongst the scorers from the spot for Wrexham.

In other news, the Football League are to introduce a league table for fans, taking into account the passion and chanting of home and away supporters at matches, as judged by an independent observer. Looks like that's another trophy Wrexham'll be missing out on then.
