Roses Really Smell Like What?

Having fought the temptation to invest in a pair of Wrexham sunglasses that I found on ebay (it was touch and go for a while) I directed my attention to the strange goings on at the Racecourse. With even the National Lottery threatening to take money out of the club, presumably to pay for a new Camelot company yacht, if the planned development goes ahead, things are getting more complicated by the day. My guess is that it that no one is likely to come out of this smelling of roses (unless the claims of Outkast's latest single are accurate, in which case Mr. Hamilton already has a head start). In news more directly related to football, the battle to sign half-decent players despite having nothing of real value to offer them (except maybe the FAW Premier Cup - they won't be needing that back anytime soon) has begun, and the boss seems to be doing as well as could reasonably be expected. Steady team-building is the best we can hope for, and even that will be an achievement given current circumstances.
