Wrexham 1 Stoke City 1 (Friendly)
Wrexham managed a one-all draw with Stoke City last night in front of around 1800 people. All of the five new signings featured, with Matt Baker, Alex Smith, Danny Williams and Dean Bennett all starting. Smith, who was replaced by fellow newcomer Andy Holt at half-time, put in the cross for Chris Llewellyn to give the Wrexham the lead, but things were level at the break, as former Watford striker Gifton Noel-Williams scored for the visitors. Denis Smith's new-look lineup was bereft of Chris Armstrong and Craig Morgan, with the latter's absence sparking yet more speculation into where his future lies. However, it now appears that Morgan will pledge his immediate future to the club just as soon as they agree to his demands of a signed Harrison Ford picture and the deeds to the Racecourse Ground's car park. Probably.
