Notts County 2 Wrexham 3 (LDV Vans Trophy)

Wrexham left it late to knock Notts County out of the LDV Vans Trophy last night, with Hector Sam scoring the crucial goal in five to put the away side through 3-2. Craig Morgan gave the Dragons/Robins the lead on 20 minutes, but Youssef Sofiane soon equalised for County, and the score remained level at half-time. In fact, it was still 1-1 in the 70th minute, before the home side looked to have edged it through Glynn Hurst. But, within ten minutes Wrexham were level again through Chris Llewellyn, before Sam grabbed the winner three minutes from time to put Wrexham through to the second round, the draw for which is made on Saturday morning.
