Wrexham 1 Bradford 0 (League One)

Wrexham move within 2 points of second spot (and with a game in hand - not that I'm getting carried away), following their win over Bradford at the Racecourse. Dennis Lawrence (who had to delay his travel back form international duty due to Hurricane Ivan) scored the only goal of the game, within 90 seconds of the kick-off. Dean Bennett came close to adding a second for the home side around 10 minutes later, but his shot took a deflection away from goal. Andy Dibble was lucky to escape with a booking after 18 minutes when he handled the ball outside of the area, but was replaced by Matt Baker at half-time, giving the latter his first competitive game for Wrexham.
The stuff page has been updated to include a couple of extra links, and a reminiscence on the West Ham FA Cup game of a few years ago.
