In A Rush For Money?
As if things couldn't get any worse (should I start every entry with that?), Chester have tabled a bid for Steve Roberts and Hector Sam. If we could get £1m or more for the pair , it might be worth letting them go. If it came down to Hector and Steve Vs. The Future Of The Club, I know whose side I'd be on. But at this stage, I don't think things are that clear cut. Ian Rush should know better than to stir up trouble ahead of the LDV Vans Trophy match, which might already be a bloodbath.
What we could do with is some money, short-term, but without releasing assets that will compromise our long-term future. How about a cup run?
