Scunthorpe 2 Wrexham 0

In all, not a great day. First we go into administration, and sink to the bottom three due to the
10-point deduction, and then we get knocked out of the FA Cup on live TV. Lee Riddley's
header took a deflection to beat Matt Baker on 14 minutes, shortly after Wrexham could
themselves have taken the lead through Juan Ugarte. As Wrexham were forced to chase the
game, Sunthrope pulled everyone back and launched counter-attacks. Eventually, the pressure
on Wrexham's three at the back told, and when Matt Baker spilled Paul Hayes' shot, Matt
Sparrow doubled the home side's lead.

In other news, Wrexham have been drawn away to Hereford in the next round of the LDV Vans
Trophy.
