Wrexham 3 Chesterfield 1

Finally, three points. It's been twenty days since Wrexham's last league win, but it feels like 20
years. Stephen Roberts and Mark Jones scored in the first half for Wrexham before Mark
Stallard pulled one back for the visitors. Wrexham made sure of the points after an hour, when
Chris Llewellyn headed in Darren Ferguson's cross to make it 3-1.

Attention now turns to New Year's Day, and Blackpool. In terms of the relegation battle, this
one is a massive game. Starting 2005 on a positive note could also be valuable
psychologically.
