Bangor City 1 Wrexham 2

It was nearly not so much down to earth with a bump as falling out of orbit and through the
earth's crust. The home side took the lead after 25 minutes through Paul Roberts, and took
that lead into half-time despite Chris Armstrong putting the ball in the net (dubiously
disallowed for offside) and Carl Lamb nearly scoring again for Bangor (hit the post).
Thankfully, Wrexham performed better in the second half. Armstrong was tripped in the box,
and picked himself up to convert the penalty. Things were then a little more even, with Ben
Foster agains making a couple of great saves. Finally, Mark Jones scored on 85 minutes to take
Wrexham through to the final.
