Newtown 1 Wrexham 2 (Friendly)
A young side with very little first-team experience managed to record a 2-1 victory at G.F. Grigg Latham Park last night.
Newtown took the lead within the first quarter of an hour, through Matt Lewis, and managed to remain in front until the hour mark, when Marc Williams scored. The youngster managed to find the net again ten minutes later to give the Wrexham XI victory.
