Stockport County, Liverpool
While scanning Sky Sports News for interviews with Wrexham players and coaching staff ahead of tomorrow's friendly against Liverpool, I learned that Stockport County Supporters' Trust have completed their takeover of the club. I wish something similar could happen at Wrexham.
On the subject of the Liverpool game, it seems that the visitors will field quite a strong team, as well as bringing the European Cup along with them to parade before the game. Joey Jones, a legend in both camps, is certainly looking forward to the game, telling Liverpool's official website that "It'll be great for our supporters to see the European champions. And I'm sure the Liverpool fans cannot wait to see the LDV Trophy winners either!"
