Bury 2 Wrexham 2

Denis Smith's problems seem to keep on coming; Dave Bayliss' sending-off further stretched the Wrexham squad, already way past breaking point.

One bright spot for Wrexham was that they finally managed to score: McEvilly gave them the lead after 11 minutes, and Robbie Foy was certainly claiming the possible own goal that put the visitors back in front 13 minutes later (following Barry-Murphy's equaliser for Bury).
But the fourth goal of the game denied Wrexham their first win since the opening day of the season, and it came from one of Denis Smith's rumoured summer transfer targets: Matthew Tipton.

The boss, however, seemed in a good enough mood to joke: "anyone with a pair of boots who wants a game [against Barnet] on Monday - just let me know!"
