Northampton; Warhurst
Matt Crowell is now fit enough to feature in Wrexham's trip to Northampton, the pre-season League Two favourites. The home side will be missing Scott McGleish, Fred Murray, Ashley Westwood, Martin Smith and Chris Doig through injury but Andy Kirk is expected to be fit.
Wrexham have offered Paul Warhurst non-contract terms. The 36-year-old's fitness may be questionable, but his adaptability and experience are proven.
I probably won't be posting a match report until sometime on Sunday, as I'm headed down to Old Trafford to watch some of the 3rd Ashes Test (weather permitting).
