Wycombe Wanderers 4 Wrexham 1

Turns out the bookmakers were right. Wycombe dominated from the off, with Nathan Tyson scoring his twelfth goal of the season after only a quarter of an hour. Wrexham didn't recover, and Kevin Betsy added another within six minutes.

Mark Jones did manage to pull a goal back for the visitors ten minutes into the second half, but Wycombe regained their two-goal cushion less than five minutes later, when Tommy Mooney got on the end of Nathan Tyson's cross. The former Reading and Swansea player got the fourth himself, underlining the difference between the two sides, and the work that Wrexham have ahead of them.
