Lee McEvilly's contribution to the side looks like being cut short for the next month or so, as a morning x-ray has revealed a stress fracture of the right foot.
The striker had been suffering some discomfort for a week or two and following Saturday's match arranged to see the club doctor for further investigation.
The doctor pinpointed the problem and has now arranged for a CT Scan to see if an operation will be necessary.
This could hardly come at a worse time for the ex-Accrington Stanley forward, who had just settled back into League football and starting scoring on a consistent basis.
In the last eight games he has notched seven goals and that will take some replacing.
