Wrexham 2 Chester City 1
Chester were put to the sword (again) yesterday by goals from Danny Williams (11 minutes) and Mark Jones (another cracker, 35 minutes in).
So comfortable were Wrexham that a penalty miss from Matt Crowell mattered not, and neither did a late goal from former Wrexham striker Jake Edwards. Denis was always confident.
