Hereford United 0 Wrexham 2 (Friendly)
Wrexham finished off their pre-season programme with a win over Hereford United at Edgar Street. Goals came courtesy of Danny Williams (fresh from beating Mike Tyson last night) and Chris Armstrong on 12 and 35 minutes respectively. Matt Baker didn't start against his old club, as Andy Dibble returned from injury to keep a clean sheet for Wrexham.
In other news, Alex Hamilton may now have to bow to pressure from fans, and find a way to keep Wrexham at the Racecourse in the long-term. Wrexham Council seems to be taking the fans' side, as does local MP Ian Lucas, who plans to turn out for the Dismal Jimmy side in tomorrow's 5-a-side tournament. Well, even if there are only 3,000 real Wrexham fans, that's 2,999 votes more than Hamilton.
