Torquay - Wrexham Postponed (Waterlogged Pitch)
With the match against Torquay postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, I'm free to worry about off the field difficulties. The court hearing regarding the Inland Revenue's winding-up order will be on November 17th. Whilst the actual winding-up of Wrexham on that day is not a strong possibility, the Inland Revenue's decision to press for repayment of their £800,000 section of Wrexham's estimated £5m debt could have significant repercussions. For example, the other £4.2m worth of debt might be dealt with in a similar way by the club's other creditors.
There has been some positive news, though, with The Independent picking up our story is yesterday's edition.
