Bradford City 1 Wrexham 1

It took a last-minute penalty, scored by Chris Armstrong, to earn Wrexham a valuable point at
the Valley Parade. Bradford has already been reduced to ten men (Dean Windass was sent off
for using foul and abusive language, tut tut) when Steven Schumacher put them ahead on 54
minutes. It remained 1-0 right until the dying moments, when Nicky Summerbee brought
down Steve Roberts in the box. Armstrong tucked the spot-kick away to send Wrexham fans
home happy.
Wrexham now prepare to face Chesterfield tomorrow, a match for which Scott Green may
return from injury. Meanwhile, the talks regarding the sale of the club seem to have been put
on hold.
Regarding this site, I am aware that users of Netscape (of which I am an example) may be
experiencing some problems with the new design. I'm trying to fix this, but in the meantime,
sorry.
