The Curse Of TV...
At the start of the week, I said that things would be fantastic if we won all three games and
found a saviour for the club. A win tonight would complete the first task, but by the time we
kick off in Scunthorpe, we could already be in administration. As I type, the hearing in
Manchester is already underway.
Turning to the slightly more platable matter of the match tonight, I'm a little worried. I can
only remember Wrexham winning once in a televised match, an FA Cup First Round Replay
against Kettering. We lost to Yeovil last year on Sky, and there was also an FA Cup loss on the
BBC in the year we were relegated. Is there a curse?
At least Hector Sam will be available for the match, having won his appeal against the
suspension stemming from his sending-off against Huddersfield. Callum Flanagan, who is on
trial at the Racecourse from Man Utd, is not expected to play any part.
