Another ‘must-win’, another draw. Torquay took the lead on 20 minutes through Jo Kuffour,
and it was left to Juan Ugarte to rescue a point for the home side with only three minutes of
normal time remaining.
A welcome break from relegation worries comes this week in the form of the LDV Vans Trophy
Northern Area Final First Leg (try fitting that into a headline). As it’s at Oldham, I’m trying to
make arrangements to get there, but my continuing lack of any form of transport more
powerful than a horse-drawn carriage is making it difficult, especially with the higher-than-average ticket price deterring any possible converts to Wrexham’s cause.
