Ulster Tour

Wrexham begin their tour of Northern Ireland today with a game against Newry City. The squad is set to fly out from Liverpool Airport early this afternoon, and will depart without the injured Jim Whitley, whose place will be taken by trainee Mike Williams, who has impressed in pre-season.
Meanwhile, Denis Smith is still looking for a striker and a defender to take the first-team squad up to the maximum of 20 players allowed whilst the club is in administration. He will not be rushed, however.
