Two goals from Lee McEvilly and a 20-yard volley from Mark Jones wrapped up the points for Wrexham.
McEvilly's first came with five minutes of the first half remaining when Jon Walters set him up around 10 yards out. He added a second just shy of the hour mark, getting his head onto a Darren Ferguson corner.
